Have you ever noticed the difference in the way men and women think? That’s a stupid question. Of course you have. Everyone knows men and women communicate and think about things on totally different planes. For example, when I didn’t have a screwdriver to mount a new curtain rod, I just used some little plant hanging hooks that I had already twisted into either side of the window on the ceiling and used my boyfriend’s copper wire to hang the rod from the hooks in front of the window. I thought it looked just fine, or at least served it’s purpose. Of course my boyfriend showed up, made fun my curtain rod rigging, bought me a screwdriver, and fixed it the “right” way. Men tend to be very cut and dry about how things need to be done in order for them to work properly, while women will come up with different ways to achieve a similar goal. Whatever. He can fix whatever he wants it if that’s what he feels he needs to do. Men also talk the way they think. They speak more directly without worrying how something will come out sounding. A lot of times women will interpret this terseness as insensitive or think that there must be something wrong because he’s not opening up. I’m guilty of thinking like a girl…Because I am. I like the contrast between men and women though. Idiosyncrasies that are typically attributed to a man being a man are cute and endearing, I think.
