I like all types of music. I never can get enough of the stuff. Music helps me to concentrate when I need to and relax when the time comes. Music is mind-altering, mood-swinging goodness that oozes into the ears and fills up the body and mind with vibrating motivation. It has the power to make you forget about how bad your chest is burning when you run and just plow through the pain to achieve record-breaking workouts. Music can help open the mind to allow it to absorb valuable information or help in blocking out bad thoughts. Music can unite people of languages to feel a common emotion with just a melody. A beautiful voice will always be able to transcend through any language barrier or generational gap. Music is the universal language. Well, sign language and music. The power of music can be witnessed as you see people tearing up in opera houses or coming together to sing Christmas carols. I have my favorite genres of music, but I can definitely appreciate realms of melodic happiness that flow from speakers or a live stage. Good music does not have to be recorded and tweaked. One of the best things about live concerts is the human quality that they posses. Humans make mistakes, and add a personal style to any piece of music. A true musical talent can be realized by even the most unrefined, tone-deaf ears. When it comes to listening to music, I will enjoy anything that makes my soul groove and my body move.
