Douche Bags
Tonight is the series finale of Jon and Kate Plus 8. For awhile they had talked about just having Kate Plus 8 cause Jon Gosselin is such a douche bag, but then he out-douched himself and said that he wanted his kids taken off the air. He claimed it was for their own benefit, but it’s pretty obvious that he just didn’t want Kate to get any part of the money that he was no longer involved in. TLC is still going to have a few shows with Kate on them, and they are talking about maybe giving her her own series. I have always liked the show, but I can understand someone really believing that it might not be in the kids best interest to be on TV their entire lives, especially after what they have gone through. Jon and Kate Plus 8 was the first show of its kind, now there are tons of others, just on TLC, that have the same theme. Tons of kids and two parents. Which sounds insane to me. Jon and Kate didn’t want to have as many kids as they did, after their twins they wanted one more, but they had the sextuplets. There are some families on TLC that have like 17 kids and more on the way, by choice. I think it’s best to stick to three or less personally, unless you’re going to get lucky enough to get a TV show some how and they decide that they want to pay for every thing for you. Which doesn’t sound too hard to do anymore when you watch TLC.

Family
On TLC, I get lost during some of the shows. They are always showing regular things that people have to do in their lives, but make it seem a lot more dramatic. Like buying a house, or finding a wedding dress. One of my favorites to watch lately is Say Yes to the Dress. The women go into the bridal shop, they show pictures and say what kind of dress they are looking for and what their budget is. Then, it’s the job of the person helping them to find their perfect dress, within their budget, during their appointment. They always show drama on the show, like the women come in with a hundred different dresses they just HAVE to try on, or they don’t even know exactly what they want and all the dresses they choose are different. I think it’s funny when they bring their families in with them and the mothers disagree with the dresses they choose. I think it makes a situation that is supposed to be really fun and exciting look a lot more stressful than I’d like for it to be. I hope shopping for a wedding dress is a lot of fun with you family and friends there, and no one is stressing out like they do on the show. But, then again, if it showed everyone happy and getting along and everything working out so well, I don’t think they would have the number of viewers they do.
